Fly away

Ever since I saw the kaisercraft 3D wall art I wanted to play with it! I finally got the chance  to create something with it as part of X-Mix DT project.

I started by creating circles from modeling paste on a few areas of the panel. Then I sprayed them with glimmer mists of different colors.

I covered all the panels with paper and tore it away to reveal the circles. Then it was time to connect the panels into one unit so I adhered them not completely straight and added the bird on top.

I added all kinds of embellishments as well as the bird which I also covered in paper.

Boys will be BOYS

Hi friends! A new DT layout I created for X mix. I created this layout in my favorite style...vintage, but not just vintage, boy's vintage. The kind with metal, cog wheels and brown colros.

שלום לכולן! עיצוב דף חדש כחברת צוות העיצוב של איקס מיקס. והפעם יצרתי דף בסגנון האהוב עליי...סגנון הוינטאג', אבל לא סתם וינטאג' אלא וינטאג' של בנים, כזה עם קישוטי מתכת, גלגלי שיניים והרבה חום.

 

I used the amazing 75 Censts collection by Kaiser Craft. I also added many "boys" embellishments like cog wheels and arrows chipboards and metal bits and pieces I have in my treasures box. Everytime I find a little piece of metal scrap or embellishment in a flea market, garage or even on the street, I put it in my treasures box, after all one man's junk is another woman's treasure! 

השתמשתי בניירות המשגעים של קייזר קראפט מאוסף 75 סנט. הוספתי גם קישוטים של בנים כמו גלגלי שיניים וחצים מצ'יפבורד ועוד כלמיני קישוטים שיש לי בקופסת האוצרות שלי. כל פעם שאני מוצאת חלקי מתכת או גרוטאות קטנות בשוק הפשפשים,במוסך או אפילו זרוק ברחוב אני שמה את זה בקופסת האוצרות שלי. אחרי הכל...זבל של אחד הוא אוצרו של אחר!

 

I started by distressing all the papers and adhering them to the layout. Then I added the photos and all the embellishments. Finally I sprayed everything with a little glimmer mist and added the title.

התחלתי את העבודה על הדף בדיסטרוס הדפיםוהדבקתם.לאחר מכן הוספתי את התמונות והקישוטים. לבסוף, ריססתי את הכל בגלימר מיסט והוספתי את הכותרת

Frame Bulletin Board

Hi dear designing/crafting friends! Today I'm sharing my first DT project with X-MIX an amazing new mixed media and scrapbooking store! I'm really excited to be in the store's first DT and getting my hands dirty!

שלום חברות יקרות! היום אני חולקת אתכן את הפרויקט הראשון שלי בצוות העיצוב של איקס מיקס, החנות החדשה והנהדרת לכל מה שמיקס מדיה ועיצוב אלבומים בנתניה. אני ממש מתרגשת להיות בצוות הזה וללכלך את הידים

 

My project is a frame bulletin board. I always need a place to put all my notes and lists and I want it in front of me so I can be reminded of it whenever I look up. So I created a bulletin board combined with a frame. This way I can hang my notes and look at something pretty at the same time.

 

הפרויקט שלי הוא מסגרת לוח מודעות. אני תמיד מחפשת מקום לשים את הפתקים שלי, אז יצרתי לוח מודעות משולב עם  מסגרת כך שגם יהיה לי מקום לתלות את הפתקים וגם אוכל להביט על משהו יפה באותו הזמן.

 

For the frame I used a cardboard frame that was inside a wooden frame. I covered it with paper, stamped it and added a little Gesso. I did the same with the bulletin board set. Then I cut the flowers and bird from a patterned paper and added to the frame. I adhered the bulletin boards to the frame and misted everything with glimmer mists. 

 

למסגרת השתמשתי במסגרת קרטון שהיתה בתוך מסגרת עץ. כיסיתי אותה בנייר, החתמתי והוספתי מעט ג'סו. חזרתי על התהליך עם לוחות המודעות וגם צבעתי את הקליפסים של המתכת בג'סו. חתכתי מדף את הפרחים והציפור והוספתי למסגרת.  הדבקתי את הלוחות למסגרת וריססתי את הכל בגלימר מיסט.
