Summer moved on...

Summer almost moved on here, but it’s still hot and I’m waiting for winter. Every year we try to do something fun to celebrate the end of summer or at least the end of the summer break (school year starts on Sep. 1st). This year we went to the beach for the whole day. We had such a good time and I took a lot of photos, I especially like these two photos of the sunset. When I saw them I immediately thought of this line from A-ha song: “summer moved on”.

I found in my Kiki Art stash a perfect paper for this beautiful sunset and I used Perfect Pearls around the circles and on the page to give my sunset a little more glow.

The journaling sais: “Summer is almost over and summer break is nearly finished. We celebrated its end with grandma and grandpa on the beach, had a nice picnic and couldn’t get enough of the water even when the sun almost set. What a way to end the summer!
