Yummy summer – crafts for kids

Another DT sketch layout for Mad About Scrapping. This is a fun and easy layout that would be perfect for kids to create. I only used pieces of patterned paper and some stickers.

Now that the kids are on summer break we often hear the sentence "Mom I'm board", here is an idea…sit together and scrap. You can follow my layout or create something completely new.

Here is another DT sketch layout for Mad About Scrapping. I really enjoyed the sketch this time because it had flags in it and recently I have a thing for flags on a scrapbook page. They add such a cheerful and happy feeling to a layout and they were perfect for the photos I had.

Since my computer died on me (not to worry I already have a new one) I couldn't develop any of my photos, so I had to look into my developed stash which was mainly old photos…or so I thought. I found these adorable photos and knew immediately they would be perfect for this sketch.

I've used The Robin's Nest patterned paper for the background and some scraps of paper for the flags and other bits of paper.  If you want to join the fun, create a layout according to the sketch and maybe win a prize you can go to Mad About Scrapping!

Rodeo Star

It's time for Mad about Scrapping's May challenge. Here is my layout for this fun sketch.

I've used yellow glimmer mist to create the stars background on the patterned paper. Added more papers and an old leather strap I had. To complete the cowboy look I added themed embellishments and a title from leather letters.

My son's favorite season is spring. He loves to go on trips, see the flowers and taking lots of photos with them. Here is a layout with the amazing anemones that color the ground red.

This is my first DT layout as the international design team member of Mad about scrappin'. Every month they have the most exciting sketch challenge with great prizes. I used Glitz and MME, Echo Park, K & Company and Fancy Pants papers. In this lo I didn't use any embellishments, other than a few rhinestones. All the embellishments are flowers or shapes cut from paper.
