Valentine's Day One Sheet Coupons Mini Album

Here's a fast and easy project to create as a gift for Valentine's Day! A One sheet coupons mini album. You can create a few of those and write different treats or gifts on the coupons according to who will get them.

For a spouse or a boyfriend you can give a massage, a fancy dinner or even the s word. For a friend it can be a manicure, a movie or anything that you like to do together. The choices are endless! Just customize your coupons mini album with your choice of papers, colors and embellishments.

You can even create a large mini album by attaching a few small mini albums together. Attach two ends of the mini album back to back with a little double sided adhesive. You will have more room for extra coupons...

Isn't that a really cool project? You have a gift, which are the coupons and what is written on them of course, and a pretty way to present them inside the mini album. And you only need one 12x12 sheet of double sided cardstock to create it!

Maximize Your Supplies - One Paper magic!

Creativity is magic! I think we can agree on that right?
But does this magic have to be packed with many supplies and embellishments?
Is creativity a direct result of how much stuff you use or how much money you spend?
let's challenge ourselves to create with less!
I say that we can create magic with ONE sheet of paper! Who's with me?

One Sheet of Paper Interactive Mini Album

Start with a 12x12 cardstock. I used a black one and covered it later but you can use a patterned double sided cardstock and then you can skip the covering part. Score it on the 4" and 8" marks, turn it a quarter of a turn and score again.

Continue according to the items:
First cut along all the lines (that are not dotted) and then fold:
A: fold top center to the right. apply adhesive to top and bottom edges of right square and attach to create a pocket.
B: fold down.
C: fold top left square down. Apply adhesive to right and bottom edges of center left square and attach to create a pocket. fold under center square.
D: fold to the right.
E: fold bottom right square to the left.
F: fold edge of square to the right on 1" mark. apply adhesive to flaps to create two pockets.
G: fold bottom left square to the right.
Fold up to close.

One Sheet of Paper Interactive Mini Album

I love interactive projects especially mini albums. It's so much fun to go through an album and find surprises in it. Pull a tag, open a door or turn a wheel and find secrets under it. It takes the mini album  to a whole different level. What if I told you you can achieve all that but with only ONE sheet of paper? You can! here's how...

First let me say that I'm so happy I can share a Youtube video tutorial with you because it's really difficult to explain all the steps with actually seeing how they work.

Add tags and inserts to the pockets and embellish. Create strips of paper to hold some of the tags.

The steps are a little confusing to explain in words and it'll be so much easier to watch the video.
I hope you'll join in the fun and try this project. It might look complicated but it's really easy. Just follow all the steps and you're there!

I'm Grateful Mini Envelope Box

The past few days were crazy. Our country has been under rockets' attacks and life has been scary and stressful. I found it really hard to create anything, my mind just didn't have the energy to think about and be full of ideas like it usually is. I asked for some advice from my dear FB friends and they said "start with something small". Well...I decided enough is enough, I would force myself to create something, something small.

During the past few days I had a lot of time to think about what I'm grateful for. Rockets tend to put things in perspective...
I wanted those things I'm grateful for to be with me all the time so I'll never forget, so I created a little mini envelope box to hold them.

This box will be my treasure box filled with photos of my family and friends and small cards with inspiring words and sentences written on them, the kind of words that inspire me and give me strength.

Thank you dear friends for standing with me, for supporting, praying and caring so much. You gave me so much strength and hope and I love each and everyone of you.
THANK YOU!

What kind of treasures would you carry with you?

DCC - Handmade with LOVE

Hi crafters! It's the first Monday of the month and we are hopping again with all my Designer Craft Connection friends!

This time I created a mini album that is not only created with love but is all about love.

This cute little mini is all about pockets and hidden treasures. Each page is actually a pocket that hides a tag inside. A tag for secret loving messages or any other message you want to write.

Back to school

My kids go back to school in a few days! I always like to make them a card with a few motivating words to start the new school year. They really like it and they keep all the cards in their rooms. This year I made a mini album card, it's a folding card that is like a small mini album.
I used Kaiser Craft paper and embellished it with Echo Park stickers. They were not "school" stickers with the traditional apple or pencil because my boys are too big for that…or at least that's what they say! So I used things that are related to school like a ruler, globe, clock, numbers and days of the week.

These cards will be waiting next to their beds when they wake up on the first day of school. Have a good year guys!!

One Sheet of Paper Tutorial: Mini Album

You know I love creating project from only one sheet of paper! Here is another fun and easy tutorial for The Robin's Nest DT. This is a great way to create a project without using too many materials or money. All you need is: one sheet of cardstock, two ribbons and a few embellishments! You can visit The Robin's Nest blog and website

1.       Fold a double sided cardstock in four. Open all folds.

2.       Start working on the upper right square. Cut the cardstock on the vertical fold line from the edge to the center. Widen the cut a little bit.

3.       Cut the cardstock on the horizontal fold line half way from the center towards the right.

4.       Fold the upper right square in half to the right.

5.       Cut the cardstock on the new fold line from the center half way to the top.

6.       Fold upward.

7.       Fold again to the right.

8.       Fold downward on the center fold line.

9.       Continue working on the upper left square. Cut the cardstock on the center fold line from the center half way towards the left. Fold to the left.

10.   Fold downward on the center fold line.

11.   Close the two sides of the mini album.

12.   Embellish the cover:

·         Adhere a ribbon around the mini album when closed.
·         Add a tag and another ribbon.
·         Cut flags from scraps of paper and adhere.
·         Add flower and buttons.

13.   Embellish the inside of the mini album but remember to leave room for photos.
