Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop, Week 3: Lace Paper

It's time for another great project! This week we each received a collection of flowers; most of them were white cardstock, but there were also a few fabric and felt flowers. I didn't want to use these beautiful flowers in a usual way as an embellishment, so I tried to come up with a way to put them in the front and not as an addition.














I moved them around for awhile and then I came up with the idea to create LACE PAPER. I colored all the white flowers with acrylic paint and added a few flowers I cut from patterned paper. I arranged all the flowers in the pattern I wanted and then I attached them to one another. After creating the lace paper I designed it as a layout.
