Make & Take

We celebrated the end of the summer in a big scrap party hosted by MY PUNCH – The Israeli scrapbook store. As a DT member I was assigned to do the make & takes. It took me a long time to decide what to do, because I needed it to be easy for the beginners, but challenging enough for the advanced, quick and above all practical and fun! So here is what I came up with:

Make & Take 1: Sign for the door

I don't know about you, but I needed a sign for my door saying: "artist at work" so no one will disturb me while I'm working.
Here's how it's done: take a piece of chipboard and cover it with pattern paper. Embellish with a lace ribbon and a button. I also cut a pattern from one of the papers and added some stickles to the button for extra dimension. Print the letters and cut them in squares, ink the edges and add stickles. Punch two holes in the corners and insert your string. Now you can work in peace!

Make & Take 2: Notice board

I always forget things. When I go shopping I make a list so I will not forget anything (sometimes I forget to take the list with me, but that's another story). I decided to make a nice notice board for my fridge so I can hang my list on it and update it during the week.
Here's how it's done: take a piece of chipboard and cover it with pattern paper. Ink the edges.
Add embellishments. You can replace the embellishment with a photo. Attach two clothes pins to the chipboard with strong adhesive. When dry, flip the chipboard and attach two magnets to it. Now you can write so you will not forget.

  2. איזה כייף! בדיוק מה שחברה בקשה ליום ההולדת... זה בהחלט סימן שצריך להתיישב ולהתחיל לתכנן...
    כרגיל, עבודה נפלאה.
