Sizzix ScoreBoard blog hop

I was invited to participate in a blog hop. What is a blog hop? The answer is simple! Eileen Hull, a fellow CHA designer has designed some new Dies for Sizzix, so she assembled a group of tallented designers to play with this soon-to-be-released line. It is amazing to see what can be done with the Die-cuts. Scroll down to the end of the post to find the links and start hopping from blog to blog!
This blog hop is not only fun for us designers, it is fun for you too, because there are prizes!  one prize will go to the designer and the other will go to one lucky reader! All you have to do is vote on Eileen's blog for your favorite project, and leave a comment on one of the participating blog to be eligible to win a ScoreBoard Die from the first collection. Voting ends on Monday the following the Wednesday hop at 6 PM.

This week we designed the Teacup Die. A cute 3D tea cup, with a littla tray. As soon as I saw it I knew what I was going to do.
I have a big problem..when ever I sit at my desk to work, I forget to get up. I don't eat, drink or even go to the bathroom. This Die was the answer! I decided to make myself a message, a reminder: "Don't forget to take a (tea) BREAK". I will keep it on my desk, in my work room, and everytime I'll look up there it will be, reminding me to take a break.

I played with it a little bit, untill I got the idea of TIME as a theme. Time being the thing that eludes me all the time...

First, I painted everything in a green acrylic paint and inked the edges. I masked and inked the surface and stamped it. I adhered a clock with hands with 3D tape and added stickers. The pop-up cup on the little tray was made by stamping a piece of cardstock and adhereing it to the tray.
The pole was made from a metal wire. I painted both signs with the same green color and inked the edges. I made two loops from the metal wire and inserted a clocked that was stamped on a piece of cardstock.
Materials I used: mask: Tim Holtz Timeworks mask; stamps:Inkadinkado, Recollections;ink: StazOn, Colorbox; clock: MayaRoad; stickers: 7 Gypsies; metal wire; arrow:BoBunny.
